Refund policy


Warranty and Return Information

  • Once the equipment is attached to the helmet you can potentially scratch it. Once it is used it is no longer returnable.  We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.

 

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

  • To start a return, you can contact us at fieldgeneralsports@yahoo.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

 

  • Please check your local’s league rules and especially with your coaches prior to purchasing ANY colored visors. We WILL NOT accept returns for items that have been used and have not been allowed to be worn by one’s league or coaches.


  • We are VERY clear about the rules for wearing visors and it is the customer’s responsibility to get clearance prior to purchase.


  • All returns are to be authorized by FGS, if the return is for a defect with the equipments in the mail during transits then FGS will cover all costs of the return including a replacement of the damage product.
  • All other return requests, if accepted are at the cost of the customer. A restocking fee will also be charged for any return refunds that are not an issue of the product.
  • Only the cost of the item will be refunded not the original shipping charges for any returns that are not an issue of the product.
  • Please select color choice carefully, not liking a color is not an authorized exchange.

 

WARRANTY

  • The FGS visor is warrantied against breakage, failure of the color coatings and cracking of the plastic for 30 days from the date of purchase.
  • You will need to provide some evidence of this purchase for warranty consideration.
  • The visors are covered for breakage/cracking of the plastic.
  • We will NOT cover scratches.
  • Unfortunately, no visor is scratch proof and we DO NOT claim our product to be. The game of football is a collision sport and there are metal pieces on football helmets that will scratch the plastic. This can not be prevented.
  • You will also need to send us a clear photo of the damaged visor.
  • If we decide to fill claim we will cover all shipping costs of the replacement item.


Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
